Insultec is a quantum leap forward in the field of heat rejecting membranes as it works on an intirely different principle to all other insulation or reflective materials. Insultec should not be confused with the many reflective membranes on the world market.

Currently over 5,000,000 square metres of area around the world have been coated with Insultec. Over the last ten years many scientists and engineers have had the opportunity to test Insultec and without exception they have acclaimed Insultec as an extra ordinary product, committing their findings to various test reports and testimonies.

Insultec Heat Re-radiating Membrane is highly durable and flexible, allowing it to move with the substrate. Insultec fills and bridges hairline cracks and can be applied to a wide variety of materials such as concrete, asphalt, timber, clean or primed fibro and properly primed metals. It is supplied in off-white colour with a matt finish to alleviate glare. The Insultec membrane application adds longer life to the substrates it is applied to, Its heat insulating abilities are remarkable with reports during excessive temperature periods of interior temperatures being lowered by 15 degrees Celsius and more.

Insultec contains no ceramic based components

Insultec is water-based and totally safe. It contains absolutely no harmful ingredients

Insultec rejects and re-radiates 95% of all infra-red rays and 85% of all ultra-violet rays back into the atmosphere

Organic compounds with Insultec absorb and trap the remainder of the heat which has not been re-radiated. Of the retained heat, 1% passes through to the structure

Insultec is microporous, which allows the membrane to breath. This means that the inside air cools at the same rate as the outside ambient (i.e. no internal heat build up)
